Kalpana Kannada Cinema (2012): Kalpana is a 2012 most awaited sandalwood comedy horror movie that stars Real star Upendra and south hot actress Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles. The movie is the Kannada version of the 2011 Tamil-Telugu movie 'Kanchana'. The Kalpana movie produced by Ram Narayan under his banner Sri Thenaandal Films. Actor Saikumar reprises the role of a transgender, Kalpana, originally played by Sarath Kumar in Tamil and Telugu versions.Shruti and Umashri play supporting roles to this thriller film.
